The LoyalTree backend was the next logical evolution of our analytics app. We ported all the features of the analytics into the dashboard of the backend, then added new features to allow businesses to configure their loyalty programs and interact with customers.
The project is two fold, a frontend powered by backbone and marionette js, as well as REST api powered by my open qoob framework. The frontend GUI is built with grunt using the sass version of bootstrap. The backend apis are built and tested with jenkins-ci and phpunit.
After launching the first version of the analytics we quickly realized our customer support team was spending too much time with program creation and maintenance. So we built a suite of tools to empower the business owners to build their own!
